This Easter join Laura from Young Growers Club for a fun and hands-on gardening event for children in Luton.
At Sow & Grow, children will get the chance to plant a selection of seeds to take home so they can grow their own food, flowers and herbs. Each child will sow one flower, one vegetable, and one herb, all with seeds generously provided by charity Cultivating Change.
Here’s a brief overview of the event:
Tin Can Herb Garden: Kids will plant their herb seeds in upcycled tin cans, perfect for a windowsill garden.
Flower and Vegetable Seeds: Choose seeds that can be grown outside or on a windowsill, so children can watch their plants thrive at home.
This event is perfect for children who are curious about nature and want to learn how to grow their own food and flowers. It’s a relaxed, casual drop-in event where your child can get their hands dirty, learn about gardening, and take home something they’ve grown!

I’ll be trying to use resources that have been gifted to me to run this event so that I am able to make this a donations only event. If you’d like to support my work and future events, donations are very much welcome.
All ages are welcome and no experience necessary — all materials and instructions provided.
This will take place in my garden in Luton, so please come dressed for a bit of outdoor fun!
